Hannah and Noah

Today we photographed Hannah and Noah Wittenbach’s wedding. It was 93 degrees outside, and we wore masks throughout the thick of it. You would never have guessed it was so hot looking at the wedding photos, as they looked flawless.

We started with Hannah and her bridesmaids. It was obvious that the Cahill’s had a strong family bond, and that there were a lot of them!

While Hannah was getting ready, we worked on photographing her wedding dress and wedding bands.

Once the bride-to-be was ready, it was time for her father to have his first look at his daughter. It was a pretty tender moment to capture.

After that, we hopped over to the Riverfront Community Center to shoot everyone before the big event! We spent a good amount of time at that location throughout the day because outside of being a beautiful place for portraits; it was the spot where they got engaged. The riverfront has a beautiful walking path with lots to see. It also overlooks the Centennial Bridge and the Missouri River. The groomsmen were pretty fun to work with! Groomsmen gifts can be challenging, but Noah had a pretty creative idea: custom engraved pocket knives.

The look Noah had when he saw his bride walking down the aisle in her wedding dress for the very first time was very touching.

After the wedding ceremony, we made our way back to the riverfront and shot a few more of the newly married couple! Before I put them back on the bench where Noah “Popped a knee”, I went over to it, where a lovely older couple was enjoying the view over a box of pizza, perhaps it was their anniversary, maybe that will be them one day. That nice couple gave up their spot to the newlyweds to document the monumental occasion.

The reception was a fun time. Many people spoke wonderful words about Noah and Hannah, they danced, and eventually it was time to call it a night, and they drove off in their decorated chariot.
